Eclipse to Launch First Solana Virtual Machine Layer 2 With Polygon

Eclipse, a development platform that specializes in creating blockchain-based software solutions, is set to launch its first Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) Layer 2 solution in partnership with Polygon. This groundbreaking new offering will enable developers to create and deploy decentralized applications (dApps) on the Solana blockchain more easily and efficiently than ever before.

By utilizing the SVM Layer 2 solution, developers will be able to take advantage of a host of features that include smart contract support, multi-asset transfer capabilities, and high scalability. Layer 2 solution can be used to facilitate interoperability between different blockchains and protocols, allowing for greater cross-chain communication and collaboration among developers.

With this innovative new product launch, Eclipse is continuing its commitment to providing cutting-edge blockchain solutions that help developers create more dynamic dApps and strengthen the overall Solana ecosystem.

Polygon Labs Overview

Polygon Labs designs Ethereum scaling solutions for Polygon protocols. We collaborate with other ecosystem developers to provide secure, affordable, and sustainable blockchain infrastructure to the Web3 community. Our suite of protocols gives developers access to major scaling solutions. Examples include layer 2s (zero-knowledge rollups and optimistic rollups), sidechains, hybrid chains, app-specific chains, enterprise chains, and data availability protocols.

Our products have been adopted by thousands of dApps with over 218 million unique addresses, 1.15 million smart contracts, and 2.42 billion transactions since launch.

Major Web3 projects such as Aave, Uniswap, and OpenSea. Additionally, companies such as Robinhood, Stripe, and Adobe are part of the existing Polygon network. Additionally, Polygon Labs is carbon neutral with a goal of making Web3 carbon negative.

On otherhands, Eclipse, a customizable blockchain service provider based in San Francisco, CA, was founded in 2022 by Neel Somani. However, It is designed to help developers create unique applications with blockchain technology, overcoming existing constraints and limitations.

Eclipse has a novel architecture that allows decentralized applications to act as their own independent chain. Thus enabling developers to deploy customizable chains without worrying about infrastructure or security management.
