Ireland to Bask in Sunshine as Met Eireann Forecasts Clear Skies

Ireland’s national weather service, Met Eireann, has forecast “wall-to-wall sunshine” for the country in the coming days. The temperature is predicted to reach as high as 18 degrees Celsius in some areas. However, the service also issued a caution that later in the week, frosty air might return.

According to Met Eireann, a high-pressure system over the country will bring dry and settled weather. The weather will have plenty of sunshine throughout the week. While temperatures will likely stay cool due to the moderate to fresh easterly breeze, the dry and sunny weather appears to be sticking around for the rest of today. Tonight will be clear and dry, with a slight chance of light frost in some areas.

Weather forecast for the remaining weekdays

On Friday, it will start off dry and sunny. Furthermore, the clouds will increase throughout the morning. Some rain and drizzle are expected in the afternoon and evening. Temperatures will be slightly higher in the north and west, and winds will be moderate to fresh easterly.

Saturday will be mostly cloudy with showers or longer spells of rain.  On the other hand, Sunday will start off mainly dry with some sunshine. Furthermore, showers may develop later in the day. There is a possibility of frost on Sunday night.
